A Message from the Founder...

Zhen Zhu was established in 1999 when I returned to America after many years of living in Asia.  I immediately saw there was a hunger for Asian inspired products, both in the design of jewelry and also in gifts such as hand painted ornaments and votive candle holders. 

My years in Asia had acquainted me with many beautiful things, but it soon became apparent to me that much of the Asian approach to design just didn’t fit into the western style.  So, we set about figuring out how to use long perfected Asian artisan techniques to create more contemporary designs, which have greater appeal in the western world.

By working with our partners we are able to find out what was new and different, translate it to a westernized application, keeping quality consistent and prices affordable.  Using this approach, we are able to bring our clients great values while providing our vendors a good business base from which to grow.
